In 2007 Cornet Obolensky successfully performed on various shows and now he is getting ready for the Olympics that will take place in Beijing where this stallion will be presenting the team of Germany.
Cornet Obolensky’s father - Clinton, with great success participates on international tournaments of the highest level. His grandfather, Corrado, ridden by Franke Slotak is the frequent winner of the largest tournaments, and his great-grandfather – Cor de la Bryere undoubtedly is the legend of the breeding of show jumping horses.
His grandfather on the maternal line - Heartbreaker is a repeated winner of the stages of World Cup. In his turn, he is a son of the most popular in the last 20 years stud-horse in Netherlands - Nimmerdor.
Grandmother on the maternal line took part in S-class tournaments herself.
Under suggestion of Hanover Union Cornet Obolensky was given a stud-horse license.
He is recommended for breeding by Westfalen, Reynlend, Hanover, Oldenburg and Golshtin unions, as well as by the Belgian and Dutch Warm-blooded breeds.
Foals from the very first generation were selected to take part on 25-th and 26-th elite land auctions of Northen Rhein-Westphalia. These foals are of a very good type with beautiful faces and correct body built.
As an indisputable favorite of the public Cornet Obolensky was chosen a reserve winner on Keuring 2001.
Cornet Obolensky performed very good at thirty days exam after Keuring, with a 8.33 overall assessment he has won the third place. And with the special jumping grade of 9,24 he took the lead over all other participants. For a free jump all judges have given him a highest grade of 10 points.
